About Louise Taube
Louise Taube owns Taube Pilates Studio in Melbourne, Australia. Louise has been teaching Pilates for over 18 years. In addition to her Pilates background, she had an exciting career as a contemporary dancer, dancing around the world and receiving grants to create her own work. Louise holds an Associate Diploma and Bachelor of Arts in dance and a Graduate Diploma in choreography. She also holds certificates in film making from the New York Film Academy and loves filming Pilates. She also holds Diploma, and Advanced Diploma in Pilates. Louise works with clients one on one and up to three in her home studio. She works with pre and postnatal, clients with lower back pain, active ageing clients in their 80’s, Pilates for men, obese clients, post-rehab for spine surgery, hip replacements and knee surgery, and preventative exercise for knee and hip replacements or to defer surgery. She also works with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, arthritis, pelvic floor issues, athletes, dancers, Parkinson’s disease, neck and shoulder pain, osteoporotic clients, and breast cancer recovery. Louise loves teaching other instructors, and building body awareness and confidence in every body! Louise also loves teaching online Skype sessions for her clients too far away to make it to her studio in Melbourne, Australia. These are usually 30-minute mat based or reformer sessions.
